London Hat Week 2020: Coronavirus Update – 12 March 2020

After a thorough assessment of the international Coronavirus situation in the UK and globally, and in the interest of the safety of all our visitors, partners, tutors and staff, we have made the difficult decision that we cannot go ahead with London Hat Week on 16-22 April 2020 as scheduled.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR LHW VISITORS?

We know how much effort everyone puts into preparing for the week so, rather than cancelling all together, we plan to reschedule LHW20. We are working with our venues to confirm new dates. Ideally, we would like to move the entire schedule ‘as is’ to a week in August.

We are really sorry that we cannot provide more concrete information at this time. As you know, the situation is unprecedented, changing daily and incredibly hard for everyone.

WHEN WILL THE NEW DATES BE CONFIRMED?

There is a great deal of re-planning for us to do at this time and we will do our best to get ready as quickly as possible. For this reason, please do not email/call/text/DM the London Hat Week team or other LHW tutors and event organisers. We understand that this is frustrating and that you may need to change travel plans.

We will be updating this page with new information as it becomes available and will contact all ticket holders in the next 7 days with details of the new schedule, booking transfers and alternative arrangements.

Thank you for your understanding and patience as we navigate through this difficult time together.
