LHW Cancellation Policy

When you make a booking for a London Hat Week event*, we reserve a space for you and we look forward to seeing you. On the basis of your booking, we confirm numbers with our talented tutors, speakers and other event organisers to enable them to prepare content and/or materials in advance. Unfortunately, this means that we cannot offer refunds if you decide not to attend or to cancel your booking.

London Hat Week reserves the right to cancel any of its listings (course, workshop, talk or event) at its sole discretion at any time prior to the start date. This would be in exceptional circumstances only and we do not expect this to happen. If it occurs, LHW will endeavour to give at least one week’s notice and to provide an alternative option such as a different date, tutor or an online equivalent.

If a transfer to a new date, new tutor or to online delivery is not possible, a refund will be offered. Refunds are made for the original cost of the booking less 5% to cover payment processing and administration costs. London Hat Week cannot be held liable for any losses or other expenses arising from such a cancellation.

All bookings made via the London Hat Week website are subject to the LHW Cancellation Policy.

Bookings for LHW listings hosted by third-parties are subject to the same cancellation and refund policy.

The above terms apply to events, workshops, courses, talks and demos listed on the official London Hat Week Schedule pages of www.londonhatweek.com ONLY.

The same terms apply to cancellation as a result of Government guidelines such as the response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Refunds will not be granted for cancellations made on the grounds of changing personal circumstances or illness.

All purchases of LHW On Demand courses and events are non-refundable.
